Gene’s journey into roofing began in 1990, following his adventurous stint touring the US with his rock band Naked Zoo. Under the mentorship of Bob McElroy, owner of Mac’s Roofing, Gene honed his craft, eventually becoming a partner in the business by 1996.

Today, Gene’s son, Jesse Puckett, carries on the family tradition, working alongside his father and embodying our core value of treating every house as if it were our own. In 2023, Bryan Lawson decided to leave roofing to pursue a full-time music career in Branson.
